Event ticketing

Event ticketing gives each attendee a personal entry ticket for one of your events, emails it to them, and lets your team scan it at the door from the Lynqu mobile app.

This is for running your own event. It is an add-on — see billing for the monthly module or the one-time single-event pass.

Define up to 10 ticket types per event (General, VIP, Speaker, Staff…), each with a colour from a fixed palette. The palette is curated rather than free-form so that the colour stays readable behind the name on the door scanner.

Issue tickets to leads attached to the event, then send them by email. Each ticket carries a QR code that is unique to that person and that event.

The QR code contains a normal web link, so a guest who scans it with their phone camera lands on a readable ticket page rather than a wall of text.

Ticket emails include the unsubscribe headers and sender identity every Lynqu email carries. They are treated as event correspondence, so an attendee still receives their ticket even if they have opted out of marketing follow-ups — but they are exempt from the marketing frequency cap in both directions.

On the mobile app, switch the QR tab into ticket-scanning mode. Any member of your organization can scan; you do not need to be a manager or admin.

Result Meaning
Valid First entry — checked in
Valid (repeat) Already checked in; re-entry allowed, original check-in time preserved
Revoked Ticket was revoked
Not active Ticket is not valid for right now
Not found Not a ticket for this event

Re-entry is allowed on purpose — people step outside.

The scan result shows the attendee’s full name and company so your door staff can match the person to the ticket, regardless of the field visibility rules applied elsewhere in your organization.

Revoke a ticket to invalidate it immediately; the ticket record stays so you can see it was revoked. Reissue to give someone a fresh ticket — for example after a name correction.
