Branding
Branding is where you make something once and every teammate gets their own version of it. A brand kit sets the colours and the logo. An email signature, a virtual background and a share graphic each take that design and fill in the person using it: their name, their title, their contact details and their own QR code.
That last part is the point. One upload becomes a personalised asset for everybody, and nobody has to be sent a template to fill in by hand.
Everything here lives at Branding in the sidebar.
Brand kits
Section titled “Brand kits”A brand kit holds your logo, your colour palette and your type choices in one place, so a card, a signature or a background does not have to be styled from scratch each time.
One kit can be set as the organization default, and a kit can be applied to cards in bulk.
| Action | Who can do it |
|---|---|
| View a kit | Any member |
| Edit a kit | Managers and admins |
| Create, delete, apply to cards, set the default | Admins |
Creating and applying are admin-only because each of them changes what other people’s cards look like.
Brand kits are available on every plan.
Virtual backgrounds
Section titled “Virtual backgrounds”A virtual background is one 16:9 image you upload for the whole company. Each teammate then downloads their own copy of it, with their personal QR code and card fields composited on top.
They are meant for Zoom, Microsoft Teams and Google Meet. Set one as your background the way you would set any other, and your code is on screen for the whole call. Anybody on the call can scan it with a phone camera and open your card. No links in the chat, and the person scanning does not need Lynqu.
The layout editor
Section titled “The layout editor”The editor decides where things sit on the image. You can place:
- a QR code that opens that person’s card
- text fields drawn from the card: full name, job title, email, phone, company, website
- static text, the same for everybody
The preview shows your card. Each teammate sees their own details in the same positions when they download it.
Upload requirements
Section titled “Upload requirements”| Requirement | Value |
|---|---|
| Aspect ratio | 16:9, within 1% |
| Maximum size | 5 MB |
| Formats | PNG, JPEG, WebP |
Limits by plan
Section titled “Limits by plan”| Plan | Active virtual backgrounds |
|---|---|
| Free and Pro | Not available |
| Business | 10 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Uploading and deleting is managers and admins. Everybody can view and download the active ones. Drafts and disabled backgrounds are visible only to people who can manage branding.
Email signatures
Section titled “Email signatures”The same idea, for email. One designed signature for the company, copied by each teammate with their own name, title, contact details and a link to their card.
Reads are open to every member so anybody can copy theirs. Creating and editing is managers and admins.
| Plan | Active signatures |
|---|---|
| Free and Pro | Not available |
| Business | 5 |
| Enterprise | Unlimited |
Share graphics
Section titled “Share graphics”Branded images sized for the places people share a card: a social post, a profile banner, a slide. Each one carries a QR code that opens the card, so the image works as the link.
Business and Enterprise.
Asking the assistant
Section titled “Asking the assistant”The Orb and any assistant you have connected over MCP can both answer questions about this. Two tools cover it:
explain-featuresays what a feature is, where it lives and which plan it needs.list-brand-assetssays what your organization actually has: which kits, signatures and backgrounds exist, which are live, and which still need a layout.
Neither can upload or delete anything. Brand assets are changed here, on this page.
